This was an unbelievable night of music as the New York City Master Chorale with conductor Thea Kano, performed excerpts of Mozart’s Requiem (funeral mass). The Chorale, a 90-person choir composed of trained musicians from the New York area, has previously performed at Lincoln Center.

If you have never heard The Requiem it is undoubtedly one of the most powerful, incredibly moving pieces of music ever composed. Short readings on peace, ecited by members of the community followed each movement.
