Our Lady of Grace Church in Hoboken Prepares for Third Annual Festival in June

Hoboken, NJ, February 10, 2008 – Our Lady of Grace will host its third annual Festival – the OLG Funfest – on Sunday, June 1st from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Festival committee is currently accepting applications for vendors from area restaurants, retailers, non-food vendors and non-profit organizations.
Vendor applications can be downloaded here or obtained at Our Lady of Grace’s Rectory at 400 Willow Avenue. Application fees are $100 for food vendors, $50 for non-food vendors and $25 for non-profits. Applications, which will be considered on a first come first served basis, should include pictures of vendor merchandise or displays.
The Festival, which will be held in Church Square Park on Willow Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Streets, will feature food, music, children’s activities, rides and games of chance. Additions to the Festival are currently being planned by the Festival committee.
“Our Lady of Grace is proud of the Festivals we have organized for our community in the past two years,” said Father Alex Santora, pastor at Our Lady of Grace Church. “We are looking forward to our third year as we are planning new activities for this year, which will be even more enjoyable for the residents of Hoboken.”

The parish of Our Lady of Grace, one of the oldest in the United States, was founded in 1851. The existing church structure was erected circa 1878 and is considered one of the first to be built in the German Gothic style and is the largest church in Hoboken.
