The parish of Our Lady of Grace, one of the oldest Catholic parishes in the United States, was founded in 1851 under the guidence of the Reverend Antonio Cauvin. The existing church was erected circa 1878 using a design by Francis George Himpler, a Hoboken resident.

Our church is considered one of the first in the United States to be built in the German Gothic style and once the largest church in the state of New Jersey.

A National Historic site
Thanks to the hard work of many parishioners, Our Lady of Grace recieved a matching grant from the New Jersey Historical Trust in 1998 to refurbish and repair the building and it's art.

Come feel the mystery and the history at Our Lady of Grace.
